Enrollment

There is open enrollment for all students in Michigan at charter public schools. If they are oversubscribed, an official random selection drawing is conducted.

Accountability

Charter public schools are accountable to their authorizer, a public education institution, based on the terms of their charter contract in the areas of academic performance, finance and operations as well as their school board members that are appointed by a public body.

Community Need
